  23.       I'm a newbie to the group, so please bear with me if this problem
  24. has already been addressed.  I use Kermit to log onto our MicroVAX II,
  25. and run a software package on VMS that does Payroll, General Ledger, etc.
  26. When we upgraded the Kermit on my machine (from 2.xx to 3.xx, I'm not
  27. exactly sure of the version numbers), I tried to mimic the commands from
  28. the older version into the newer one.  It works okay.  However, while
  29. running the software on VMS, it seems that I'm getting "echoes" of 
  30. control characters and stuff.  Also, when I try to go from the bottom of
  31. the screen back up, the screen becomes distorted with overprinting of the
  32. template (entry screen) on top of what is currently there.  I know that
  33. this is not a lot of information, but if someone could give me any sort
  34. of help, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks for your time,
